What do I do with an unresponsive cell phone service provider?
What do I do with an unresponsive cell phone service provider? Can I cancel the contract and demand that they pay for the damage they caused my new computer? Due to their poor signals at my property my computer is damaged as a result of having to move it around for reception. I did complain several times but they failed to show up.

Your contract with the service provider will spell out the consequences of a cancellation. Usually the penalty would be equal to the balance of financing and interest. Can you sue for the damage to your laptop as a result of the poor signals causing you to move around? I doubt that it will succeed in a court of law. There is no sufficient causal connection between the poor reception and damage to the ports which would most likely have been caused by poor handling. You can try complaining to the service provider and threaten to stop using their services if they don’t compensate you.
