Hello.
Due to a technical glitch your question did not show up previously. Not sure what the current situation is. If your oral agreement does not permit him to be there, you should give him a notice to vacate the premises pending a resolution of any dispute between you. Warn him that if he didn’t you will lay a charge of trespassing at the police station. You also have the option of bringing an eviction application for unlawful occupation, but that is a long route.
