Hello
You should try and reason it out with the landlord and give an undertaking to pay the arrears when the benefits pay out.
He cannot evict you without a court order, and an eviction process is a long court process which landlords don’t like. It’s costly and it means no rental income for some time.
You can take up the matter with the rental and housing tribunal if he threatens you or insists that you must leave immediately.
