In May 2016 one of our freelance employees had an accident with a company car during a company event, resulting in it being a write-off. I was the team leader on this event and the company called me to hearing.
Through these hearings ( first hearing and appeal) the company found me negligent on some technicalities and are holding me accountable for the damages.
This matter has been dragging on for all this time, with the company threatening me with legal action, and the owner of the company threatening me with some more personal threats.
The company have not served me with any letters of demand or any official documentation.

What do I stand to do now that they have sent me another meeting request?
