Interim rental fee was charged to me without having the device/product
Good day
I have recently applied for a device.
I got approved in December for the device. Subsequently, I was charged an interim fee on the 4th of January. However, I had only received my device on the 8th. If I had not indicated to the company that I was charged they would not have sent it to me.
They claim I was paying the interim fee from the 21st December 2017, when I didn’t even have the product.
Also, I was charged the full monthly payment on the 9th January 2018.
I feel I’m liable to pay only one day interim fee.
Please advise.

Thank you. Your starting point would be to look at what the contract provides in order to establish the extent of your liability. Unfortunately, I will not be able to advise you appropriately as i do not have copy of the contract before me.
