Won’t show up for hearings.
Hello
The father of my child has never paid child support. I went to maintainance court and he won’t show up for court hearings. It will be the 3rd time in January and I don’t know whether he’ll show up or not.
What happens when he’s a no show constantly?

Hello. If there is proof that a summons was served on him and he failed to appear, the maintenance clerk should get a magistrate to authorize a warrant for his arrest. Check with the clerk if there was a return of service of a summons and insist that he is apprehended, since it seems he is deliberately dodging his responsibilities.
