employee’s being registered for uif
my boss has sexually harassed me, verbally abused me, I’m not sure if we as employee’s are registered for uif .he is not threatening a lie detector test as well as a drug test for what reasons I’m not sure. we as employee’s have signed no contracts . every day that i have taken off for being sick with valid reason and doctors notes have been deducted off my salary . I’ve been sent home twice for being late and without pay!!
Evening Danielle T, your complaints are serious and you are immediately advised to take the matter up with the local labour department. They will assist you in respect of all the allegations you refer to and especially the UIF. Regarding the sexual overtures you may immediately take the matter to the police and lay a criminal charge of assault (depending on what physical actions were takenwould determine the charges) against the perpetrator.
