Forced to move from location
I was framed by the mother of my child that I wanted to stab her and said I don’t fear the law and I was taken to prison for 21 days then I was given bail with a condition that I must not enter the area I was staying. Why does it seem as if I’m already being sentenced for something I did not do. I thought it was innocent until proven guilty BH it in my case its vice versa.
Evening Abraham H. In a criminal case you definitely are innocent until proven guilty. During the administration of the justice system it sometimes appears unfair and in your case having been detained for 21 days before being released on bail with a condition not to enter the area you are staying may currently seem unfair and as if you are already proven guilty…imagine if the shoe was on the other foot …The point is the procedure appears to have been within the current legal framework and my advice is that you approach a lawyer or legal aid if you cannot afford a lawyer to defend you at the trial.

Abraham unfortunately you cannot transgress/break a bail condition as this will result in a withdrawal of your bail and keeping you in Custody until the trial. I suggest you seek the assistance of either a private lawyer or a legal aid lawyer if you cannot afford a private lawyer to approach the court to amend the bail condition in respect of your freedom of movement to enable you to work and also make sure your lawyer knows of the allegations concerning the affair between the investigating officer and the complainant
