I have a problem with my claim at Outsurance, ake premium when suppose to
Outsurance was my insurer and denied my settlement after my premium didn’t go off on the date they had to take it. Premium had to go off on the 28th as they say which was on a Saturday, thus they had to collect it on the Friday 27th October 2017 but they didn’t. As per their T&Cs they don’t collect premiums on a weekend/public holidays but now they are denying my claim with their reason being “unpaid premium”
Please advise accordingly.
Thank you in advance.

One of the many reasons insurance claims are either partly or completely rejected by the insurers is due to premiums not up to date. If you are however certain that your insurance claim is being rejected unfairly, I would suggest you lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman for Short-term Insurance. You can have their contact Google searched.
