Landlord breaching contract
Im renting a house and the owner also lives on the premisses. Ive been staying there for 6 months and there were no problems now in the past week there is one or other problem. Every day she complaims. I have a year contract. She said she wants to move where I staying and today she said she put a ad in for january.
Definitely, your landlady’s failure to allow you undisturbed use and occupation and enjoyment of the premises constitutes a material or major breach of the contract. You will be within your right if you chose to cancel the lease midway. You will still be entitled to your deposit. You can on the other hand report her to the Rental Housing Tribunal.
