2014 Vehicle Airbags not activating
The vehicle was bought from VW dealer second-hand.. unfortunately 2 weeks later we had a serious accident on the motorway but none of the airbags activated only I had injuries due to sitting in the back without my seat belt.. would like to know if I can peruse and action for compensation from the dealer or manufacturer?

How did the accident happen? Is it just the airbag malfunction or was there additional malfunction on the VW you think may have caused or contributed to the accident?
However, in terms of sale: The National Credit Act is applicable, and you can return the vehicle to VW over the airbag malfunction. For personal injury claim: is the accident as a result of a collision with another vehicle? If yes, your claim lie against the Road Accident Fund. I must believe there was an accident report and you have copy.
I think your lawyer, if furnished with full detail concerning the accident will advise you even more effectively.
Thank you.

Sequel to my earlier response to your question, by mentioning VW, I was actually referring to the dealership that sold the vehicle to you and not the manufacturer. Thank you.
