Driver at fault will not answer my calls.
Good day,
I’d like your advise on a matter I am facing, I was involved in a minor accident where the a minibus taxi pulling a trailer changed lanes prior to observing, thus hitting the front on car. Now we reported the incident immediately, highway patrol was on the scene and I have a case number, however, I am failing to get ahold of this driver for him to make payments for my repairs. It’s been 3 weeks now. Please assist in a way forward. Thank you.

If you exchanged contact information with the owner driver at the time of the accident such as names and address, as well as vehicle detail, then you can issue a letter of demand alternatively a summons on the appointed address. His phone number is irrelevant. Since the highway patrol team was on the scene, there should be an accident report of which I believe you were given a copy. Look out the owner driver’s detail on the report. Thank you.
