I want to know if i can sue him for “stealing” my bike?
A guy whom i asked to take care of my bike when i relocated because of work.He had no problem, in the months that followed he sold my bike without my consent, and did not inform me, and i did not receive any money, and now refuses to pay me my money, i got the papers for the bike, and witnesses to testify that the bike was with him, no written contract was made between us only a verbal agreement.

If he appropriated your bike and sold it for his own benefit, without your consent, there is a case you can open at the police station for theft. He should have the intention to permanently deprive you of the benefit of your bike. You have the option of going to the small claims court ( at the Magistrates court ) to sue him for the value of the bike. No lawyers are required. It will thus cost you very little.
