My ex-wife does not allow me to see my son.
My ex-wife has custody of our 8 year old son. On divorce she moved to another town. The High court ruling stipulated that my son should visit me during December holidays. I live in Cape Town, while she moved with the kid to East London. However my ex-wife has always found an excuse to prevent this from happening. This has included arrangements for airfares which she has almost always found an excuse to cancel at the last minute. This behaviour has prompted legal battles which has dragged on at great expense. What do I do?
I will suggest that since both parties are running legal costs, you should agree to approach a family advocate in the town where she lives to work out a suitable convenient. And also to smooth over some bad blood that often comes with divorces. Litigation should be the last resort.
